Both smartphones have lots of similarity like both are powered by snapdragon 855 octa core processor, run on Android oxygen OS (similar to stock Android), both using UFS 3.0 storage, primary rear 48MP camera, front 16MP selfie camera and type-c connecting cable that means you will same performance experience on both the devices.

It is available in three variants 6GB RAM 128GB storage (₹48,999), 8GB RAM 256GB storage (₹52,999), 12GB RAM 256GB storage (₹57,999) in three colours mirror grey, almond and nebula blue.

Pros

• Pop up selfie camera, if you like pop camera then go for it.
• More screen to body ratio.
• 90Hz frequency display rate and Quad HD+ display, you can enjoy HDR videos.
• 3X camera zoom without any loss of quality but in reality its 2.2X which is also not bad
• One wide angle lense from which you can cover 170° wide area.
• Fast charging support.

Cons

• It has 90hz display but presently not many app support this feature.
• It has 4000mAh battery but also discharge fast because of screen.
• It is heavy, large and slippery, it can be difficult to use the phone

Verdict

Both smartphones are good at there place one plus 7 is value for money and one plus 7 pro is premium looking powerful phone.

• If you want a powerful phone for heavy usage and play games, a good camera, decent battery life at low price then go for one plus 7.
• And if you want a premium looking smartphone, powerful processor, fast charging, pop up camera, wide angle, 3x zoom, 90hz QHD display then you can buy one plus 7 pro.
