Realme is the 2nd top mobile phone manufacturer after Redmi. To get better position all mobile companies are giving tough competition. Realme launched two new phones in this month one is low budget smartphone Realme 3i and other is middle range smartphone Realme X. I have posted article for Realme 3i before, to read Click here.
In this article we will talk about Realme X. It is available in two variants.
Realme X (4GB+128GB) – ₹16,999
Realme X (8GB+128GB) – ₹19,999
There is no 4GB RAM variant available. In storage, they are using LPDDR4X and UFS 2.1 technology which makes phone more fast and secure. There is no dedicated slot for memory cards only two nano sim card slots are available but with 128 GB internal storage i don’t think you need extra storage.
Company revealed two colors of phone one is Polar white and other is Space blue. Back panel is made of polycarbonate plastic and finished like glass which shows ‘S’ pattern from different angles, in box you will also get a Back cover of good quality. I suggest you Polar white color which looks more premium.
It has a big 6.53″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with 91.2% screen to body ratio and also protected by Gorilla glass 5. Screen is very good in color and quality with bezel less screen you will enjoy videos. There is under display fingure print scanner. So you have to tap on the screen and phone will unlock within 1sec which is fast enough.
It has Qualcomm snapdragon 710 processor which gives speed of 2.2 GHz and work with 10nm technology. It is not the latest processor but it is also not bad processor. You won’t face any issue while using this in heavy working conditions. It has GPU Adreno 616. You can also play heavy games in high graphics setting.
Battery capacity of this phone is 3765mAh which is not a massive amount but it comes with a 20W vooc 3.0 charger from which you can 55% charge in 30min. Connecting cable is type-C which is quite impressive because this is the Realme’s first smartphone with type-C cable.
Now lets come to the camera section, It has rear camera combination of 48+5MP f/1.7 and sony IMX586 sensor in 48MP main camera. And in front camera 16MP f/2.0 IMX417 sensor (same sensor in one plus 7 pro) with pop up mechanism. That means you will get a good image quality and eadge detection is also good in this phone. You will also get camera options like 4K recording, slow motion recording, chroma boost, Nighscape and many more. For face unlock front camera works very accurate and fast like all realme devices.
You will have Android 9 pie out of the box with Color OS 6 which has lots of customize options and phone will get Android Q also. It has all major sensors. It also supports OTG, camera to API for Gcam and widevine L3.
So, this is the good package you can get in this price but we expected processor Snapdragon 730 But we have to comprise with snapdragon 710 which is also good processor and for camera section, screen quality, fast charging – it is a good phone.
