Redmi put all effort to compete with one plus this time and Redmi K20 pro is the good competitor of One plus 7 and on some extent of One plus 7 pro. Redmi released the new Redmi K20 pro in this month with their latest K series. In a mid range price with flagship dynamics. Redmi K20 pro entered with so much great features at an aggresive price.

In terms of design and built quality Redmi has done a great job, it uses glass on back side which has flame pattern which gives premium feel on holding the phone. It will show you different holographic pattern when you tilt phone at different angles. Back side is protected by Gorilla glass 5 which is good thing and you will also get a black soft back cover with rubberish feeling.
On front, has a 6.39″ FHD+ AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla glass 5 and believe me that screen quality is superb. You don’t see any interruption by punch hole or water drop camera on screen, it a full bezel less display. Speaker grill, type-C port and Sim ejector tray is placed on bottom side which consists of two sim card slot only and on top side there is a secondary mic, pop up camera with LED notification light and 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-fi DAC support which makes audio output better. You will probably notice that it does not has IR blaster this time.
Under the hood, it has Qualcomm snapdragon 855 Octa core processor which works on 7nm technology and has Adreno 640 GPU with 8 layer cooling system which prevent phone from heating while heavy uses. It comprises 4000mAh battery support 27W fast charging but unfortunatly company provides 18W charger in the box. And frankly speaking it has a better battery back up than One plus 7.
It facilitates us with triple cameras on rear side 48+13+8MP with IMX 586 sensor which could record 4K videos on 60fps and also supports EIS at 30fps, laser auto focus,ultra wide angle,slow motion and motion tracking system. For selfies it has a pop up 20MP shooter with red colour lighting ring effect on front camera. Beauty effect and portrait effect make your selfie good with good detailing and colour saturation. Pop up camera life spain is tested for more than 2 lakh time.
Redmi K20 pro will support all necessary sensors In-display fingure print scanner which is faster than its face unlock, FM radio, widevine L1, Camera to API, gyroscope, Ambient display with multi colour always on display, DC dimming, DCI P3 HDR and many.
So it is packed with lots of high end specifications in it which makes it a value for money phone. But apart from this it also has some minor cons-
- Unavailability of IR blaster like other Redmi phones.
- Ads in MIUI although company says K series will have minor ads.
- In door lighting rear camera performance is average.
- No space for extended memory.
