After the success of google home, Google launched google nest hub in America and now after so much time, google revealed this device for India also. If you are familiar with google home and google home mini, this is quite similar to google home opted with a screen. So basically it is google assistant with a screen which indicates that now we can get results from google assistant in visual form and enjoy videos on youtube with this device. It is available in two colors – Chalk (grey) and charcoal(black). It’s price in India is Rs. 9,999.
In terms of built quality we should not doubt because it is a google device nevertheless it is quite impressive. It seems like a google nexus tablet with a stand attached to it. Its speaker is fitted on its back side with also work as a stand and you will get mute and volume button rear side. In the box there will be only google nest hub, its adapter and some paper works.
7 inches LCD display touch screen and ambient sensor which control brightness automatically according to the lighting conditions around. With this screen you can also use this device as a wallpaper because of its good screen quality and ambient sensor, It will furnish your photo according to the surrounding. Some wallpapers are available in it and you can also set your photos from google photos steps very easily.
Speaker’s quality is good in terms of clarity but not very loud enough. Mic used is very consistent even you it can detect your voice from far away and google assistant service is also fast enough on this device. There is no option for connecting additional speakers from wire but it has Bluetooth 5.0 from which you can also connect you google home devices if you have. As its name suggest it is a hub to control of all you smart devices simultaneously.
For office table or bedroom table it is a best device from where you can control all things with some tap or with your voice commands. It could act as a table watch, wallpaper and off course an assistant of you from which you can get weather update, map route, listen songs, watch you tube videos, ask google any query, switch off/on you smart devices, check their update and control their features with your voice.

There is another similar device available in market with lesser price Amazon Echo but it does not support you tube and you have to take amazon prime subscription for better experience.

Weather you will miss some features like camera for video calling, speaker loudness and wired connectivity for speakers. Overall it is a good device but if you can wait some more time then you can wait for google nest hub max with big screen and camera for video calling.
